THE PROJECT
The roof of Old Mission Peninsula School has been patched for years. The time has come to replace both degrading materials and remedy the design issues that contribute to its deterioration before the problem worsens. We have a goal to raise $100,000. Work will begin this summer with the aim of being completed before the commencement of the 2022-2023 school year to keep our building running for generations to come.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Unlike public schools in the district who rely on your tax dollars and district funding to maintain their buildings, Old Mission Peninsula Education Foundation receives no funding toward maintenance of its vast 34-acre campus.
HOW OMPEF IS INVESTING IN OUR SCHOOL
OMPEF invests in more than just the building. Over the past five years, we have underwritten many of the start up expenses to establish the charter and re-open the school, subsidized a portion of the school's operating expenses, and raised funds to help teachers add enrichments to their classrooms.
HOW TO GIVE
